Vice President of Products

The VP will ensure that all aspects of the division run profitably and consistent with the company mission and values and will be responsible for growing the product pipeline.

The VP will have oversight between products and manufacturing, Research and Development and Sales and will provide the strategic direction for business activities for the Products Division. The VP will oversee the Budget and P&L for the division, including KPI analysis. The VP will establish and represent the strategic vision and goals for the business unit. The VP will handle business development for new markets, products, customers and new product applications.  The VP will generate ideas and provide leadership for future products and services.  The VP will evaluate scientific activities, review data and troubleshoot.  The VP will attend trade shows, conferences and other events and will deliver scientific presentations. The VP will work within regulatory bodies to facilitate development, licensing and sales of products and services.  The VP will collaborate with other organizations and will mentor direct reports which include managers, scientists and technical staff.

Qualifications include 15+ years of post-doctoral experience in diagnostic assay development, 10+ years of leadership/executive management, experience in experimental design, problem solving, analytics, leadership, coaching, project management and collaboration, experience with and understanding of management, knowledge of diseases of livestock and companion animals. BS degree in a scientific discipline, PhD in Veterinary Science, Microbiology preferred.
