The Vice President of Marketing will oversee the planning, development and execution of the company’s marketing and advertising initiatives. The VP of Marketing will generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the organization. The VP of Marketing will use market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations. The VP of Marketing will set and achieve strategic goals related to social media metrics, television advertising and marketing campaign initiatives. The VP of Marketing will negotiate compensation and project details for contractors related to marketing and promotions. The VP of Marketing will create and propagate an enthusiastic brand message that will resonate with the target demographic. The VP of Marketing will follow up on daily revenue reports, social media strategies and other components of the marketing program. The VP will have a deep understanding of changing market dynamics and will keep up to date with industry and technological changes that impact the business. The VP will manage the budget for the marketing department and will lead and execute successful marketing campaigns.
Qualifications include-analytical, creative, extensive knowledge in a variety of disciplines including production, legal, finance and information technology. A Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA is preferred. 10+ years of experience in marketing and advertising is required along with 7 years in a supervisory role. The successful candidate must be able to function in a team oriented environment.
