We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained veterinary Radiologist to join a team. This is an AAHA-accredited and AAFP-certified, multi-doctor specialty animal practice in Sacramento, California. The top-of-the-line facility is equipped with complete endoscopic, laparoscopic, and thoracoscopic instrumentation, multiple ultrasounds, O2 cages, CBC, PT/PTT, a 62 slice CT, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, I-state, colloid osmometer, and more.

The hospital has a complement of experienced, well trained and compassionate staff. There are boarded specialists in Cariology, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Surgery, Neurology, Medical & Radiation Oncology, and Emergency/Critical Care. The relationship between the individual doctors and the various services is collegial. Sit down rounds are conducted every morning with all the doctors to discuss hospitalized cases with their intern class as a learning opportunity. This type of collaborative medicine is somewhat rare outside of a university setting and makes for a rich and rewarding environment. It optimizes patient care while ensuring continuous learning. Teaching, mentoring, and participating in the interns’ professional development would be expected from any candidate.
