We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinarian Radiologist to join a thriving animal hospital in the Providence Metro area of Rhode Island.

We are a large and busy 24-hour emergency and specialty referral center providing comprehensive care to communities across Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and southern Massachusetts. Inside, you’ll find a large 24/7 intensive care unit staffed by highly trained technicians, boarded specialists, and experienced emergency clinicians, along with cutting-edge equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, endoscopy, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, and advanced monitoring systems.

About the Hospital

Our 36,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility provides comprehensive referral and emergency services in a space built for excellence. The brand-new, dedicated ICU was thoughtfully designed for efficiency and includes separate isolation wards for respiratory and GI cases, oxygen cages, quiet runs, and plenty of cages and kennels for patient comfort. We’re equipped with advanced technology such as endoscopy, digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, and top-tier monitoring systems — giving our medical team everything they need to deliver exceptional care.

The Veterinarian Radiologist duties include, but are not limited to, performing ultrasound examinations, reading the radiographs, CT scans, and some MRI scans. The Diagnostic imaging equipment includes an Aplio 700 ultrasound unit, digital radiography, a 64-slice GE CT scanner, a 1.5 tesla Siemens MRI unit, and a fluoroscopy unit.
