Veterinarian Radiologist – Nassau County, NY – #9414

We are seeking a Veterinarian Radiologist in beautiful Nassau County, New York.

The ideal candidate will be self-directed, innovative, and motivated, and ready to teach and mentor veterinary students who are studying Radiology/Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.

Primary responsibilities will include clinical and didactic teaching in diagnostic imaging in both pre-clinical and clinical years. Successful candidates are expected to promote our overall mission of enhancing veterinary medical education through a commitment to teaching, academic excellence, and service to a variety of stakeholders.

Active engagement in curriculum development, identification or creation of innovative learning resources, and committee service participation (such as admissions, curriculum, research, etc.) is expected.

The successful candidate must have a DVM or equivalent degree and expertise in radiology/diagnostic imaging. Specialty board certification/eligibility by the American College of Veterinary Radiologists or equivalent is essential. Advanced training in diagnostic imaging and research with a PhD is desired.

Salary:

$120,000-$175,000
