Seeking a Veterinarian Ophthalmologist in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

Our clinic is a hybrid hospital, meaning we offer both specialty and primary care services. We have a wonderful group of general practitioners and specialists, and we pride ourselves on prioritizing collegiality and collaboration.

Our emphasis on teamwork means there is always someone to provide a second opinion or a helping hand, and sick ER patients can easily be transferred to the appropriate service.

We have multiple veterinarians who have been with us for well over a decade (and some over three decades!). We employ board-certified specialists in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and surgery.

On the support staff side, we have an experienced patient care team, a phenomenal client service team, and the best referral management department in the country. Our stable management team prioritizes patient care, associate well-being, and retention. Love teaching? We have a robust rotating internship program that offers you the opportunity to work with a new group of young veterinarians every year.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $200,000 -$300,000.

About the Hospital

We recently moved into a beautiful, new, 35,000 square foot hospital in northeast Albuquerque that has dedicated suites for ultrasound, endoscopy, 6 surgical suites, oncology (including a chemo hood), ER procedures, and I-131 treatment. We also offer state-of-the-art equipment for imaging, including a 128-slice CT scanner, an MRI, and three ultrasound machines. Our new hospital is equipped with a linear accelerator, and we are the only hospital in New Mexico able to offer radiation therapy. Our hospital is AAHA-accredited, and we are an AAFP Gold Cat-Friendly Practice.
