Our animal hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to lead our practice as Medical Director near Lake Pontchartrain, Louisiana.

Our Medical Directors spend 90+% of their time practicing medicine in addition to leading a team. This position offers a six-figure salary plus production, clinical support, work/life balance, and an Equity Bonus Package valued up to $90,000 — a real investment in your future!

The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine.

The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.

In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of other leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Medical Director are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment.

About the Hospital

We are an animal hospital that offers both wellness and urgent care. Our hospital features three exam rooms and is equipped with diagnostic and treatment tools, including ultrasound, digital radiography, therapeutic laser, EKG, and comprehensive in-house laboratory capabilities—such as urinalysis and CBC machines. Beyond that, we are well-equipped to offer boarding & bathing, dermatology, exotic pet care, dental care, surgical services, end-of-life care, microchipping, and more. Additionally, we have a well-stocked pharmacy for all our patients’ needs.
