We are seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead a collaborative veterinary team in Folsom. This leadership role offers a salary range of $195,000–$245,000 plus an exceptional total compensation package and the opportunity to combine clinical practice with medical leadership.

In this role, you will split your time between providing high-quality patient care and guiding the medical direction of the practice. Approximately half of your time will be spent practicing medicine alongside a skilled veterinary technician team, while the remainder will focus on overseeing medical programs, developing protocols, and mentoring veterinarians and lead veterinarians.

The Medical Director ensures excellent standards of care, maintains compliance with veterinary regulations, and oversees controlled substance management and medical policies. You will collaborate with practice managers and executive leadership on hiring, scheduling, strategic planning, budgeting, and equipment investments that support continued growth and medical advancement.

You may oversee multiple hospital locations and help resolve client concerns while supporting the organization’s strong reputation for compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
