Our client is a full-service veterinary medicine facility located in the Florence, South Carolina area. The practice provides a complete list of comprehensive services with a focus on total wellness and preventive care with a great support team that is willing to help in any way. The veterinary support team is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. The practice is like one big family, always looking to improve and working together as a team.

We are seeking a veterinarian who is organized, honest, dedicated, dignified, traditional, and a great believer of doing what they believe is right. Our ideal candidate is people-focused, extroverted, idealistic, charismatic, outspoken, highly principled and ethical, and knows how to connect with others no matter their background or personality.

The veterinarian will primarily be seeing pets in exam rooms and will have a day they are scheduled for surgeries. They will also be part of the ER call rotation – ER done every day of the week, including weekends.

Travel – Not outside the normal commute to work. ER calls are taken outside of normal business hours and the veterinarian is expected to go into the hospital for those emergencies that they feel need to be seen given the situation.

The work schedule will be 4-5 days per week. Hours will vary based on role for the day (surgery versus exam rooms) as well as day of the week.

Qualifications:
DVM licensure or equivalent for SC. DEA licensure for Federal as well as SC.
