Veterinarian – Conroe, Texas (north of Houston)

Established and growing veterinary practice serving the Conroe, Willis, Montgomery and The Woodlands areas is adding an additional veterinarian to the team. The practice is well regarded, maintained and successful and provides outstanding customer service and quality care to clients. The practice focuses on client education and improving the quality of life for pets.

The staff is tenured and highly trained so the doctors can concentrate on quality small animal veterinary medicine and surgery. The practice places a great deal of importance on diagnostics and diet and nutrition. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, laser therapy and provides on-site ultrasound and echoes and uses complementary medicine such as acupuncture and herbs with traditional medicine.

We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian who shares the practices values and is looking for a place to grow and interested in future leadership opportunities. The doctor will perform routine surgeries, dentals, emergency surgeries and exams. If this sounds like a great fit for you, we would like to talk with you.

The doctor will build rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes; perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures in a way that will deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. The veterinarian will maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols; assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of the patient. The doctor will stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education meetings.

Qualifications include a licensed veterinarian in the state of Texas with the ability to handle the position.

  • DVM/VMD/Equivalent Veterinary degree from an accredited institution. Licensure in the state of Texas
  • Good Collaborative and communication skills

Compensation

  • Generous pay based on experience
  •  CE, paid licenses and dues (organizational, PLIT).
