Territory Sales Manager – Inland Empire, CA
The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will detail and sell pharmaceuticals, biologicals, equipment and services through in-person sales calls to veterinary professionals in an assigned territory. The TSM will work closely with Inside Sales representatives and other departments to develop, maintain and service accounts in an effort to increase sales. The incumbent will develop sales strategy in conjunction with the Regional Manager and will develop and implement an account call system to manage accounts within the assigned territory. The incumbent will educate veterinary professionals and staff by detailing products and services. The incumbent will attend regional trade shows on an as-needed basis and will assist with educating attendees about products the company offers by promoting the company in a positive and professional manner. The incumbent will build and strengthen relationships with customers and will communicate clearly and professionally with all accounts.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in business management or animal science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of experience working in veterinary sales combined with sales management experience is required. The successful candidate will have strong communication, writing, negotiation, and organization skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to understand product knowledge and technical materials related to sales.
