Field Technical Services Veterinarian – Northeast

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian with experience in field technical services to join the team as a Field Technical Service Veterinarian. Our client is a pharmaceutical group dedicated to meet the unique needs of veterinary professionals. This position will plan and implement opportunities with the company and distributor salespeople, veterinarians, industry leaders, and universities to increase sales. The territory will encompass the northeast from NY to Maine.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Working with territory sales managers on sales calls and other customer interactions
• Working with sales management to plan and implement technical learning opportunities for territory sales managers
• Responding to questions and inquiries from veterinarians
• Keep specialists and veterinarians informed of new products or updates relevant to their areas of interest
• Follow up on reports to product support regarding potential product defects
• Provide support to university programs and increase student awareness

Requirements 

• DVM with valid US license
• 5+ years’ experience in small animal clinic
• Additional experience in field technical services with small animal health products is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and flexibility
• Willing to travel 50-75% of the time
• English fluency.
