Technical Services Veterinarian (Field Based)- New England

The Technical Services Veterinarian will provide technical support on products to assist the sales team in their efforts. The Technical Services Veterinarian will plan, implement and champion opportunities through sales representatives, including distribution reps as well as industry leaders, colleges and universities, to enhance the organization’s image and increase sales. The incumbent will collaborate with other departments within the company on matters of strategic and tactical importance. The incumbent will be a resource of technical information for field sales reps and customers regarding products the organization sells.

The incumbent will work with sales leadership to plan, develop and implement technical learning opportunities for sales reps. The incumbent will research and write technical bulletins and will respond to questions about products from veterinarians. The incumbent will plan and present seminars in clinics and other meetings. The incumbent will provide input and feedback to marketing on items that impact the marketing of a product or program and will provide support to university programs to increase student and university awareness.

Qualifications include a DVM or equivalent degree with valid US license to practice veterinary medicine in the United States, strong communication skills; must be able to communicate with the audience at an appropriate level, must be able to travel up to 75% of the time, be highly competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
