Our emergency animal hospital is looking for a Specialty Medical Director (specifically a Criticalist or an Internist) who enjoys practicing medicine with a cohesive, tenured team in the D.C./Northern Virginia Metro area.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated Veterinary Specialist to begin transitioning their career into a leadership position, establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital while also continuing to practice veterinary medicine.

You will receive support from the Regional Medical Director and other field team and Support Office associates.

About our Hospital

Our facility is home to over two dozen specialists & E.R. clinicians and 36 technicians (including 6 VTS). We see patients in 20 exam rooms and have a dedicated dental suite as well. We are equipped with digital dental radiography, diagnostic ultrasound capabilities, a 16-slice C.T. scan, cold laser, fluoroscopy, hyperbaric oxygen, an in-house lab, Doppler, ultrasound, ventilators, telemetry, spiral CT, MRI, linear accelerator, EEG, and many other state-of-the-art diagnostic tools at the disposal of our dentists, cardiologists, neurologists, surgeons, criticalists, and dermatologists right on site.
