Senior Product Development Manager –  # 9247

The Senior Product Development Manager will manage the product development requirements (pre-clinical and clinical) and will manage development projects from initial conversations to live-phase study activities to final study report signatures to track overall timelines and budgets for study activities. The incumbent will coordinate the selection of the vendors for study protocol conduct and or laboratory requirements and activities including the provision of necessary supplies required by the study protocol. The incumbent will direct and provide oversight of materials and documentation for the study and quality assurance resources as required. The incumbent will direct and provide oversight of investigational veterinary product, control product inventory, accountability, labelling, regulatory documentation, and shipment of drug supplies to the study sites. The incumbent will participate in the monitoring of the study sites. The incumbent will be aware of current regulations and the animal drug development process, while maintaining a flexible mindset to work through product development challenges.

Qualifications include 10+ years of veterinary drug development, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, results oriented, experience and skills necessary to monitor a study, able to present information both in oral and written formats, computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, able to communicate in a clear, concise, and organized manner, a collaborative working style to be able to lead people at all levels and functions in an organization.
