Regional Sales Manager – New York City area
Animal Health company is growing and looking for a Regional Sales Manager to manage team of Veterinary Territory Sales Managers. The RSM (Regional Sales Manager) will provide sales expertise, operational insight and managerial focus with direct reports while exceeding revenue plans and improved return on investment strategies within a complex marketplace and with a broad span of control. The RSM will ensure the continuity between Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and all functional areas.
The RSM is responsible for executing designated sales plans/strategy to achieve sales goals, managing the reporting, tracking, and forecasting of revenue performance vs goals for the Region. The RSM will be responsible for hiring, training and leading the Territory Managers.
Qualifications include experience in 3+ years outside sales (animal health or veterinary sales preferred) and 2+ years experience leading a team or managing direct reports, excellent communication skills, a team player with an drive, self-starter with coaching, negotiation and presentation abilities, team player, creativity, enthusiasm and love for pets.
