Professional Services Veterinarian – Poultry

The PSV will serve on a team as the primary technical resource to introduce a product proven to improve gut health and reduce disease to poultry health and nutrition professionals showing the expected ROI and science behind the product.  The PSV will work with potential customers to design and manage field trails and their evaluations and guide live operations and animal health professionals through the purchasing process. During this process, the incumbent will work with a sales team to follow-up with decision makes and influences so the entire team sees the benefits of product utilization.

Qualifications include: DVM or equivalent degree, 2+ years of clinical experience or 1 year internship. Industry experience preferred. Will consider PhD or equivalents. The successful candidate will have a “sales” type of personality, be able to relate technical information to both technical and non-technical people, understand customer’s needs and success factors and match product benefits to them, experience with coccidiosis, salmonella and a good understanding of poultry disease and ability to translate the information from trials and research results into a compelling ROI benefit to the customer. Self motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Travel is expected to be 3-4 nights to work and the incumbent will work directly with poultry on farm locations.
