Professional Services Veterinarian field based.- Companion Animal Focus.

We have an open position for a Professional Services Veterinarian. In this role, the incumbent will provide professional technical support for companion animal product sales and marketing activities and will respond to technical inquiries and provide product information to veterinary practices. In addition, The Professional Services Veterinarian will support Pharmacovigilance systems to satisfy regulatory requirements, provide technical training and support for internal and external customers. The Professional Services Veterinarian will develop and maintain close relationships with Key opinion leaders within the industry. The Professional Services Veterinarian will participate in strategy meetings with other technical, sales and marketing staff to assist in the development of product lines, marketing plans and to optimize opportunities for product growth. The Professional Services Veterinarian will represent the company at national and local veterinary industry meetings.

Qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree, 1-3 years of clinical practice and prior/current pharmaceutical industry experience, understanding and knowledge of the animal health industry from the individual veterinary/customer level through distribution, strong written and verbal skills, excellent computer skills including MS Word, Power Point, Excel and Access, outstanding people skills and understanding of the veterinary and distribution channels.

There is a travel requirement of approximately 25%-50% of the time. The position will require some field travel as well as to the corporate office.
