Product Manager Companion Animal – Canada

Product Manager Companion Animal-Canada.  The Product Manager Companion Animal Canada is responsible for the strategic management and being on the front lines of innovation. The Product Manager of Companion Animal will develop and implement marketing strategies, demand forecasting and act as a central figure related to quality, regulatory, supply and demand, logistics and sales in Canada to meet objectives for sales, supply metrics, profitability, product positioning and market share. The Product Manager will lead the strategic planning process in the development of the annual operating and five year plans through a cross-functional team of marketing, field sales, sales management and veterinary operations to identify opportunities for the business. The Product Manager will manage brand planning associated with financial cycles, develop partnerships with customers, enable field operations, work with agencies, produce high impact and efficient digital and print assets and programs to engage multi-layered customers, collaborate with the global team, coordinate with supply function, work with stake holders and manage personnel.

Qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in Science or Business. An MBA is preferred. Other qualifications include 5-10 years of experience in a related business with a proven track record in sales and marketing, experience in animal health is preferred, leadership experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, experience in SAP and financial systems, experience in digital marketing and ability to travel 20% of the time.
