Product Development Manager

Product Development Manager. We have an opening for a Product Development Manager to lead global clinical development projects for pharmaceutical compounds in research and development through all stages required to obtain regulatory approval for sale in global markets.

The Product Development Manager will prepare, design and implement the product development operating plan including tasks, timing and costs for pre-clinical, pilot effectiveness and target animal safety studies. The Product Development Manager will interpret study data, handle dossier preparation, lead life cycle management projects and will handle project-related proposals. The Product Development Manager will interact with Regulatory Agencies, principally FDA, EMA and other relevant regulatory agencies.

Qualifications include a Veterinarian Graduate with a (D.V.M, B.V, Med or equivalent) with experience in a veterinary practice. Advanced degree or specialty board certification is a plus. 5+ years of veterinary industry experience with a working understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of investigational veterinary product development in accordance with relevant guidelines (e.g. VICH, GCP), including study design, protocol development/study execution/reporting and dossier preparation. The successful candidate will have experience with participation on cross-functional product development teams as an R&D project leader with experience leading project teams within veterinary drug development, including interaction with governmental agencies. Other requirements include ability to lead diverse project team members located in the US and/or EU, ability to travel domestically and internationally.
