A growing mobile veterinary service in Los Angeles is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian focused on end-of-life care. This role offers the chance to provide hospice, palliative care, and optional services like acupuncture in a setting that allows you to slow down and truly connect with pets and their families.

Your day is intentionally structured and unhurried, with up to five appointments spaced throughout the day so you can be fully present for each visit. You won’t be balancing surgeries, callbacks, or packed waiting rooms—just meaningful, one-on-one care. Schedules are flexible based on the number of days you choose to work, and you’re paid for your committed days, not appointment volume, offering both stability and balance.

The team values collaboration, open communication, and new ideas. They’ve built a supportive, respectful environment where empathy, adaptability, and a calm, easygoing approach go a long way. Candidates must hold a California DVM license and DEA registration, be comfortable working independently in clients’ homes, and have a suitable vehicle. The role also requires the ability to handle controlled medications responsibly and lift up to 50 lbs. A compassionate, grounded personality with strong listening skills is key.

A four-day schedule offers a salary of around $150,000 annually, with additional opportunities for equity and long-term ownership.
