The primary purpose and function of the Medical Director is to lead and manage the hospital and ensure the highest quality of medical care, an unmatched client experience, associate engagement, and maximum productivity of the hospital team. The Medical Director advocates for pets and their quality of life; builds a long-term relationship with the team and clients, and educates clients and the hospital team on all aspects of pet health and the human-pet bond.

The Medical Director partners with the Operations Advisor, support team, and Practice Manager (if applicable) to operate an effective and productive hospital team, ensure a safe and engaging hospital environment, and improve the medical quality, client experience, and business performance of the hospital.
