Our animal hospital in beautiful Saginaw County is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to lead our practice as Medical Director! Our Medical Directors spend 90+% of their time practicing medicine! This position offers a six-figure salary plus production, clinical support, work/life balance, and an Equity Bonus Package valued up to $150,000 — a real investment in your future!

The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.

In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of our leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Medical Director are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment.

About the Hospital

This 4,000+ sq ft. facility is a full-service animal hospital that is well-established and offers comprehensive veterinary services. Some of what we offer includes soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, dental procedures, laser therapy, urgent care, end-of-life care, diagnostics, and more! Additionally, we utilize a portable ultrasound with telemedicine and echocardiogram capabilities. This modern facility has a state-of-the-art on-site laboratory and a fully stocked pharmacy for added convenience and peace of mind. The hospital prioritizes staying up to date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and providing high-quality care to its patients.
