Seeking a motivated and experienced Veterinarian to step into a leadership role as Medical Director at our well-established practice in Dorchester County, Maryland.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a DVM who wants to continue practicing high-quality medicine while also guiding the medical direction of the hospital, much like a practice owner. You’ll shape clinical protocols, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of excellent patient care—all with the support of a full team of experts in operations, marketing, HR, and more.

You’ll be leading a small but dedicated team that includes a fellow DVM, a hospital manager, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Together, we provide compassionate, fear-free care to a diverse range of patients, including dogs, cats, exotics, and farm animals (excluding cows and horses).

About the Hospital

Our animal hospital offers so much more than just wellness & preventative. We are a Fear-Free hospital that offers Ultrasound, hot cutting laser, cold laser, digital x-ray (dental too), fluid pumps and warmers, pulse ox, water blanket warmer, bear huggers, and anesthesia monitoring devices. You’ll perform a mix of surgeries including soft tissue, reproductive, splenectomies/GDVs, c-sections, advanced dentistry, and orthopedic.
