We are a small and large animal veterinary clinic, serving dogs, cats, and small mammals at our practice. We also treat horses, cattle, and small farm animals such as pigs, goats, sheep, and poultry where we drive to our client’s location through a farm call.

The Medical Director is responsible for creating a positive teamwork environment in which veterinarians and staff deliver quality medicine and exceptional client service. While partnering with the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership for the practice, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university

• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of employment
• Ideally, 5+ years of practice experience
• Positive and effective leadership
• Ability to manage staff and outcomes with emotional intelligence
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
• Delegation of tasks and achieving results with practice team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
