The Medical Director (MD) works in close partnership with field leadership and plays a key role in shaping the medical quality, culture, and patient care standards of the hospital. This role combines clinical excellence with hands-on leadership, mentorship, and operational partnership.

You will set and maintain the highest medical standards for the hospital, provide mentorship, coaching, and support to veterinarians and the care team, model a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture, guide strategic priorities and hospital initiatives, maintain a strong work ethic, integrity, and supportive leadership presence, and perform all duties of a staff veterinarian while taking on additional leadership responsibilities.

Because our hospital sees a mix of primary care and emergent cases — without typical ER hours — our Medical Director has opportunities to work up unique cases and truly shape the medical direction of the practice.
