Key Accounts Manager

Key Accounts Manager. The Key Account Manager will be in charge of developing sales and promotional strategies that align with category and brand strategies and the implementation of these strategies within assigned key accounts and channels in the US. The incumbent will provide accurate rolling sales forecasts for supply chain and budgetary purposes and assist with the preparation of contractual agreements for commercial and trading terms negotiations. The incumbent will plan and execute business planning sessions with key accounts, evaluate and document channel partnerships, ensuring all activity is recorded and act as the key interface between the customer and relevant divisions.

Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience in sales/and or marketing with at least 1 year experience in key account management, a proven history in key account management positions, preferably in a consumer goods environment, good knowledge of the Companion Animal marketplace and retailers, proven selling skills, strong negotiation and planning skills, capability to influence both internal and external stakeholders, a strong commercial skill set that can be used to identify potential business opportunities and issues, strong learning agility, strong analytical skills, proficiency with Windows software suites, excellent written and oral communication skills, desire to commit to professional and personal development in self and others.
