Head of Clinical Research & Development

The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of the Clinical Research and Development strategy and business plan, leading the clinical research and development team, building, and maintaining a high-performance culture through good processes, communication and development and coaching of the team. The incumbent will be responsible for clinical research and development financial performance and financial administration. The incumbent will drive improvements in quality and maintain regulatory certificates, including GCP and GMP.

Qualifications include: 

• Knowledge and understanding of the broad trends within the animal health industry.
• Prior P&L leadership or profit contribution responsibility essential.
• Knowledge and contacts with major animal health pharmaceutical companies’ clinical development leadership.
• Outstanding leadership skills with an ability to build a positive culture in line with the company mission and values.
• Experience and familiarity in submitting dossiers to FDA and USDA regulatory authorities.
• Demonstrable career growth and people management experience.
• Team mindset and used to working in a fast-paced operating environment.
• Collaborative, credible, with an ability to engage and influence at senior levels internally as well as externally.
• Experience applying new technologies for the purpose of scaling business objectives and meeting expectations with cutting edge systems and processes
