General Manager Veterinary – Illinois # 9243

A large veterinary practice operation in Illinois is looking for a General Manager to lead the operations and management of multiple departments.

The General Manager will report directly to executive leadership and will assist in designing growth and operational strategies – including staffing, budgeting, marketing, and training –   and be responsible for implementation of these strategies while ensuring high quality care and customer satisfaction. The General Manager will work with medical and operations department leaders and oversee general operations.

The ideal candidate will have several years of successful veterinary leadership experience with a large practice and or experience with multi-location management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, natural leader, and strategic thinker with a strong background in large practice management,  multi-site management or complex operation. You should be highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable mentoring diverse teams. We will consider someone from the veterinary profession or human medical.

• Strong analytical and budgeting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required. MBA is preferred
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Illinois area
