Food Animal Sales Manager (Midwest or West location)

Our client is the best kept secret in the Animal Health Industry and has plans to triple the growth of the organization over the next 5 years. We are looking for a Food Animal Sales Manager to supervise a team as well as call on the ag retail and tractor supply stores and distributors. This is a working manager role meaning the incumbent will call on accounts in addition to managing a small team of sales representatives. We are looking for someone with a coach/mentor mentality who will be concerned with continuing to develop the team.

Qualifications: Animal Health Industry experience, specifically in the dairy sector and solid understanding of ag retail and distribution. We are looking for someone who has supervisory experience along with sales/account management experience and need someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hard. Attitude is more important than skills but we need someone with a proven track record of successful experience in sales with some sales supervisory experience. Travel will be 60-70%. The incumbent could live in Kansas City or Texas or anywhere in the Midwest/Central part of the United States over to the West Coast.
