Director of Technical Services (Veterinarian)– Cattle (Colorado based)

Innovative, growing company is looking for a Director of Technical Services with strong beef cattle experience and current license to practice. The Director of Technical Services will be the key link between the CEO and the field veterinary team. The Director will lead a team of 3 to 4 DVM’s plus other staff in providing technical support to the company’s customers, provide training to internal team, assist with R&D, adverse reaction reports, and promote the company at trade meetings and associations via talks and presentations. The Director will be based at the corporate office and travel approx. 25% to 50% at times to visit customers, prospects and attend meetings.

Duties include:

• Daily technical calls from veterinarians/producers while in the office
• Support to 4 full time veterinarians and 10-12 consulting veterinarians
• Prepare PowerPoint slides based on research- present to technical team
• Assist with R&D program
• Assist with Adverse event reporting and submissions
• Annual updates on 4 RACE approved CE programs
• Set 2 annual technical meetings and run the agenda
• Contribute to the 2 annual sales meeting with regards to Technical issues
• Annual review of full time veterinarian performance
• Conduct technical training of all new sales people and new veterinarians
• Conduct talks with the veterinary profession/end users to explain product
