Business Manager – Swine, Poultry, Aquaculture

Business Manager-(Swine, Poultry, Aquaculture)- The Business Manager will drive alignment with global and execute the local strategy within the industry to create and sustain relationships with key accounts and business partners. The Business Manager will be responsible for the channel, pricing and product mix strategies and sales in the region. The emphasis is on sales and marketing activities.  This role involves planning, directing and implementing the product management activities for the Disinfection Market Segment within the US and Canada. The Business Manager will achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic and marketing plans and reviews and will resolve problems, identify trends and determine regional sales system improvements and implement change. The incumbent will meet regional sales financial objectives, prepare a budget and schedule expenditures. The Business Manager will actively manage the distributor network, expand the customer base and build and maintain rapport with key customers. The Business Manager will work closely with and provide guidance to the Regional Technical Manager and develop technical tactics and strategies together. The Business Manager will develop strategies to improve product offerings and will help with translating future product development needs. The Business Manager will manage business compliance with regulatory affairs and will be accountable for market segmentation, market research, product marketing plans and will develop business and marketing plans.

Qualifications include a Bachelors degree, DVM preferred, MBA preferred. 10 Years of professional experience is preferred but we will consider candidates between 5-10 years of experience. Project management experience is required and international experience is preferred. Experience within pig and poultry is required. Ability and willingness to travel 50% is required.  The key to success will be knowledge of the network within the industry to build strong relationships quickly with distributors, key accounts, veterinarians and farmers. The incumbent will need to interface with the business, technical sales and regulatory. Analytical skills are required.
