Business Development Head – Veterinary

Business Development Head.  The incumbent is responsible for the execution of the company’s aggressive growth strategy and will build relationships with the goal of sourcing and closing transactions.

Qualifications include a demonstrated track record in business development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or positions held in a multi-site healthcare business in which growth through acquisition was a focus. Other qualifications include 5+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development or related roles, knowledge of financial analysis and accounting, knowledge of M&A structures and due diligence processes, finance experience and an undergraduate degree. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with people having a sophisticated and unsophisticated financial acumen. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of integrity and will have experience leading a team. We seek someone who is a problem solver who can offer innovative solutions and a self-starter who is self-motivated and accountable. We seek someone who is results oriented and is able to meet deadlines and work within a fast paced constantly changing environment. Other qualifications include being detail oriented and being organized and able to handle multiple projects at the same time. Being able to work in an environment with ambiguity is essential.
