We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join a team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This was a solo-specialty practice that has flourished into a 24/7 emergency/referral hospital with services in surgery, internal medicine, radiation oncology, neurology, and a team of experienced emergency and critical care doctors.
The incoming veterinary oncologist has undergone extensive training in oncology to obtain specialized knowledge to diagnose, stage, and develop treatment plans for pets with cancer.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide oncology consultation and treatment services and to further the development of an established program. In addition to working with the team of specialists, they will be expected to develop professional relationships within the local and greater veterinary community as well as provide CE and training to in-house support staff and local veterinarians.

About the Hospital
The advanced design facility brings a level of sophistication to the practice that is unmatched in South Florida. It boasts an on-site MRI, CT, I-131, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG, electro-diagnostics, a new linear accelerator, an in-house reference laboratory, a blood bank, and a 125-seat auditorium. The Department of Oncology and Internal Medicine is supported by a double-boarded Oncologist, two Internists, two surgeons, a certified canine rehab technician, a Hospitalist, and an Emergency and Critical Care Service.
