Our esteemed animal hospital is looking for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut.

As a Veterinary Oncologist, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team of specialists, technicians, assistants, and support staff to provide comprehensive cancer care for pets. You’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule and the support to grow your practice in a thriving, well-equipped environment.
Our oncology service is a high-volume department that supports both our in-house specialty teams and a wide-reaching, trusted referral network.
Here, you will utilize advanced imaging technology to support patient care and treatment decisions, collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, radiology, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, and emergency teams as needed, communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners, participate in case rounds, continuing education, and hospital-wide initiatives, mentor technicians and interns, and actively nurture a culture of support, growth, and teamwork.
About the Hospital
We are an independent, locally owned 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital with two locations. As a VECCS Certified Facility, we have proudly served the Connecticut veterinary community for more than 50 years. With referrals from over 300 veterinary practices, our hospital provides trusted care for pets across the region. We have a collaborative team culture spanning 11 specialties: Anesthesia, Behavior, Cardiology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation, Surgery. Our pain management and rehabilitation department is led by a dual board-certified anesthesiologist and sports medicine clinician, providing patients with exceptional post-operative care and recovery options.
We utilize State-of-the-art equipment and facilities with 6 surgical suites and dedicated prep areas, advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Digital Radiograph, Fluoroscopy), in-house hyperbaric oxygen chamber supported by a certified hyperbaric technologist, Critical Care staffing 7 days a week, dedicated scrub nurses, technicians, and support staff for the surgery department, skilled VTS in multiple specialties including anesthesia, and a very diverse and engaging caseload!
