Our animal hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team!
We were founded in March 1994 and have established ourselves as York County’s trusted resource for comprehensive veterinary care.
Our hospital has expanded exponentially over the years, which has been a testament to our practice’s mission of respecting the human-animal bond and treating animals with the care and respect they deserve.
We are a full-service animal hospital dedicated to quality medicine and care for small animals and exotics. Whether it be feathers, scales, or fluff and tails- we see it!
The incoming veterinarian will be an ambassador for the hospital by sharing our overall vision and by promoting the hospital amongst the community, professional organizations, and beyond. Our ideal candidate also understands that practicing outstanding medicine is the key to continuing the growth of our AAHA-accredited hospital!
Our emphasis has always been on high-quality care for our patients, and compassionate communication with our clients. We believe in presenting our clients with all treatment options and helping them make informed decisions based on medical facts. We consider alternative treatment plans in cases with financial constraints, always sensitive to the emotional needs of the clients.
About the Hospital
We have a sprawling 6,000-square-foot facility, a state-of-the-art in-house laboratory, a fully-stocked pharmacy, a truly amazing surgical suite, and plenty of space for pet boarding, grooming, and more. We are an AAHA-certified facility offering veterinary services for dogs, cats, birds, and small exotics. In addition to treating family pets, we also work with Virginia’s Newport News Park Service and the National Wildlife Service in providing medical care for sick and injured wildlife.
