Our Animal Hospital is a fast-paced, multi-doctor practice in New Haven County, CT.

We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian who has an interest in Fear-Free medicine, enjoys surgery and internal medicine, and loves what they do!

What makes our hospital unique?

• We are a Fear-Free Certified hospital and are very proud to practice fear-free medicine!
• We see small animals (cats and dogs) with the occasional guinea pig or rabbit.
• Variety of cases from wellness to new puppy/kitten, to advanced internal medicine and surgery/dentistry.
• Advanced diagnostic tools and services that include: ultrasound, full-digital radiography, and chemotherapy.
• Tenured group of 3 doctors, with a team of 4 licensed and unlicensed technicians.
• Supportive, collaborative team environment.

Who we are looking for:

• Veterinarian who is licensed or able to obtain a license to practice in Connecticut.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Excellent communication with staff and clients, with the ability to discuss various treatment options.
• Energetic, team-oriented attitude, with an interest in collaborating with colleagues.
• Interest in surgery, and dentistry is a plus!

Schedule:

• Full-time
• We are open 6 days/week, no on-call hours
• The schedule includes 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with a rotating half day on Saturday.

About the Hospital

We offer state-of-the-art veterinary care which includes preventative medicine, routine surgeries, specialized surgeries, routine and advanced dentistry with digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, and cold laser therapy. Our doctors have special interests in reproduction, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, and pain management.
