What You’ll Need for This Role:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Proficiency in performing routine small animal surgeries and dental procedures.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and techniques, including radiography, and laboratory testing.
• A commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
• A passion for providing high-quality, individualized care to patients and exceptional service to clients.
• The ability to manage time effectively and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with AAHA standards and a commitment to maintaining the practice’s accreditation status.
• Interest or experience in alternative or complementary veterinary therapies, such as acupuncture or physical rehabilitation.

About the Hospital

Services offered at this AAHA-accredited hospital are a mix of wellness appointments, sick appointments, diagnostic evaluations, surgeries, urgent care cases, and an occasional daytime emergency case. We have five exam rooms that are complete with phones and PCs. Our equipment includes digital radiology, digital dental radiology, comprehensive monitoring equipment (Dopplers, pulse oximeters, ECG, etc.), 2 anesthesia machines, in-house Idexx diagnostic laboratory equipment (blood and urine), BedJets, Baxter IV fluid pumps, Tono-Pen, and a class III cold therapeutic laser. Our spacious treatment area has a hydrolytic lift table, 2 wet tables, and 1 dry table.
