Associate Veterinarian – Grafton County, NH – #9330

Seeking an Associate Veterinarian in Grafton County, NH, to join a privately owned hospital committed to high-quality patient care, efficiency, and teamwork. The practice maintains high medical standards while moving at a steady, well-managed pace, keeping care accessible and involving staff in the development of protocols and practice guidelines.

This role offers flexibility to build a schedule and workload around individual strengths and experience, with mentorship available from a practice owner with more than 35 years of experience if desired. The team fosters a positive, collaborative environment and adjusts expectations to support both patient care and professional growth.

With a primary care focus, veterinarians can form long-term relationships with clients and their pets, making this a great fit for a community-minded associate seeking a stable, long-term position rather than per diem work. Compensation is primarily ProSal-based, with the base negotiated based on days and hours worked, and salary options available for the right candidate.

Life in Grafton County

The White Mountain National Forest inhabits much of the county and is perfect for hiking, camping, and skiing. The Appalachian Trail also runs through the county! Here, you’ll enjoy water activities on the Connecticut River, Baker River, and lakes with beautiful, clean water. And in the Fall, some of the most spectacular leaf-peeping in all of New England can be seen right here! For the skiers out there, take your pick of Loon Mountain, Cannon Mountain, and many other ski resorts around. Hikers love Franconia Notch State Park and the Flume Gorge, and cyclists and kayakers get a thrill on ideal terrain and waterways that are for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts! Most of New England is full of small towns that exude charm with their picturesque streets, boutique shops, and locally owned cafes. Farmer’s markets, craft fairs, and seasonal festivals keep the community connected. Additionally, the crime rate in this region is incredibly low, and the schools are wonderful, making this a solid choice for families. If you enjoy a balance of peaceful living with access to outdoor recreation, cultural enrichment, and small-town warmth, Grafton County could be a fantastic place for you to call home.
