Alternate Veterinary Delivery Model Global Manager Consultant

Alternate Veterinary Delivery Model Global Manager Consultant.  We have a position open for a highly motivated results-driven Global Manager to handle alternate veterinary delivery models. This exciting role is part of an expansion into the online, food drug mass and pet specialty channels, focused on developing non-traditional veterinary models. The successful incumbent will be in charge of the strategic direction of these models globally with a strong focus on the United States. The incumbent will build intimate and productive relationships both internally and externally.

The Global Manager will define global strategy for alternate veterinary delivery models including in wellness clinics and retailers such as Walmart, community clinics, mobile clinics, tele-medicine and novel veterinary delivery models.

The incumbent will stay abreast of industry trends, understand implications for these channels and develop recommendations aligned with alternate delivery models strategy. The incumbent will liaise with regulatory and veterinary technical groups to anticipate regulation changes and understand implications for these channels and drive strategy accordingly. The Global Manager will build a network of emerging animal care start ups and partner with groups to provide funding and collaborate on go to market partnership opportunities to put these channels on the forefront of new trends in the space.

The Global Manager will work collaboratively with Innovation as well as IT/Multi-channel marketing teams to lead launch of strategically important new vehicles and platforms. The Global Manager will lead management of all marketing elements for key partners within the alternative veterinary delivery models segment in partnership with respective Key Account and other Managers.

Qualifications include a DVM or equivalent degree, 5+ years of commercial experience, 2+ years of marketing experience and legally authorized to be employed in the United States. There is not sponsorship for employment visa status for this position.

Additional preferences: strong understanding of EPA, FDA and USDA regulatory environments, strong strategic thinking, highly developed analytical skills, financial, development and commercial skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within all levels of the organization, commercial understanding including P&L development, good understanding of the animal health industry and emerging pet care trends, strong commercial focus, marketing experience, cross-functional project leadership, excellent communication and influencing skills, can do attitude, proven ability to implement, analytical use of data, proactive and results driven, not afraid to try new things, MBA preferred.
