Account Manager – western Canada

We have an  opportunity for an Account Manager to cover Western Canada.  The Account Manager will work closely with the Regional Manager Canada and will work with and support nutritionists. The position will cover all species so species specialization is not critical. A beef background, however is preferred. Primary customers are feed manufacturers (nutritionists and salespeople), consultants and producers. Customers also include the distributor sales force. The ideal location for this role is Saskatchewan, Alberta or British Columbia.  In this role the successful candidate will have sales responsibilities for Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. The role entails growth and management of our client’s product sales in Western Canada.

Qualifications include a minimum of a B.S. degree in Agriculture (preferably Animal Science), 5+ years of feed industry sales experience, 3+ years in account management. A thorough understanding of the feed and livestock industry in the designated market, strong communication skills and dedicated willingness to travel is required.
