Account Executive – Animal Health

Account Executive (sales) position open. We have a position open for an experienced Account Executive. This individual will focus on both new business development and fostering relationships with existing customers. This is an opportunity with uncapped commission with an organization that promotes internal growth.

The role entails for the Account Executive to achieve bookings and revenue targets, identify key decision makers and provide solutions that solve business needs that are client specific, develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success, act as the liaison between the customers and internal teams ensuring client’s requirements are met, negotiate all client agreements, collect and analyze sales data and trends, maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards, work as a liaison with sales and marketing to set and implement strategies for new products, stay up-to-date with internal and external developments in the agriculture industry, build and deliver presentations that compel and drive results, develop and maintain the account/territory plans, keep CRM up to date with required information to keep the team informed of moving parts with the client.

Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of experience in selling within the Animal Health Arena, Operational knowledge of CRM and MS Office, Agriculture Retail Knowledge and experience a plus, in depth knowledge of sales performance metrics, demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client’s requirements, high degree of communication skills, ability to lead and motivate team members, excellent analytical and organization skills, ability to learn and absorb information and have a keen understanding of how to turn that into selling opportunities, ability to think creatively and analytically, proven active listening skills, persuasive communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, ability to build collaborative relationships with other groups, keen sense of planning, creation of pipeline, forecast and reporting for client.
