Associate Veterinarian – Chicago suburbs

Associate Veterinarian Chicago suburbs.  Our client is a reputable veterinary clinic in a suburb outside of Chicago, IL practicing high quality medicine and will work up cases in-house referring only when necessary. The team is capable and well trained, allowing the doctor to direct the medicine while they implement the directions. The practice has a wide variety of equipment to aid in the diagnostic and healing process, including a complete in-house rehabilitation center. We are looking for a veterinarian who is compassionate, considerate, a multi-tasker with a good sense of humor. The successful candidate will be able to pick up the pace to meet the demand. A typical non-surgery day will have this individual in the exam room seeing well patients, progress exams, senior exams, and patients with problems. We are looking for individuals with surgery skills which should include a variety of soft tissue with an interest in orthopedics and endoscopy. The individual will assist in mentoring less experienced associates along with the owner. Qualifications include a veterinary license in IL in good standing, however, application for IL license can be made upon arrival.  3-4 years of experience in the exam room with skills in internal medicine and surgery is required.  Experience with orthopedics and endoscopy is preferred.

Doctors are compensated on production with a guaranteed base, insurance allowance for medical, all licenses, association dues, worker’s compensation and licensure insurance as well as liability, continuing education
