A close-knit, privately owned veterinary practice in Marion County, WV, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its friendly, family-oriented team. This is a laid-back practice that truly values its employees and strives to maintain a healthy work-life balance, with evenings and weekends off.
The Associate will provide wellness exams, vaccinations, routine medical care, and surgeries, along with management of medical cases ranging from simple to complex. Occasional daytime emergency care may also be needed, while after-hours, weekend, and overnight emergencies are handled by local emergency clinics.
The practice has a friendly, supportive staff and serves primarily rural communities with clients who love their pets and appreciate fairly priced care. The team is happy to work with clients who may have financial limitations.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with veterinarians typically starting between 8:30 and 9 a.m. and taking an hour-long lunch. New graduates are welcome, and assistance is available with obtaining a West Virginia license if needed.
