Territory Sales Manager – Food Animal – # 9714

The Territory Manager – Food Animal (TM) is a hybrid role that combines strategic sales responsibilities with hands-on technical expertise in bovine reproduction. Serving as a trusted advisor to veterinarians and dairy producers, the Sales Manager delivers innovative solutions, drives adoption of advanced technologies, and fosters long-term partnerships with customers and reports directly to the SVP of U.S. Operations.

The TM will have full ownership of all sales activities and customer relationships within their territory. This individual will nurture existing accounts while actively developing new business opportunities to expand market share. Success will be achieved through disciplined territory management, a targeted customer approach, and the effective promotion of company’s portfolio.  The goal is to deliver measurable sales growth, strengthen customer loyalty, and advance herd productivity across the territory.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years dairy or beef industry sales experience in a senior role, in and around the territory
  • Degree in Animal related discipline or life science a benefit
  • Must have a current driver license
  • Knowledge of bovine reproduction
  • Ability and willingness to travel between 50 to 60% of the time.
  • Extensive Industry Knowledge of the U.S. dairy and/or beef sectors, including current regulations, emerging trends, and industry best practices.
  • Strong Business Acumen with exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • Proven Marketing Expertise in promoting technical products and services to professional audiences, particularly veterinarians and dairy producers.
  • Technical Proficiency in Bovine Reproduction, with the ability to translate complex science into practical applications for customers.
  • Results-Driven Mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders.
  • Self-Motivation and Initiative, with the ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
