An exciting opportunity is available for a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Small Animal Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join a thriving specialty and emergency hospital in South Florida. This busy, well-established private practice is adding an additional internist to support its growing caseload and collaborative specialty team.

Enjoy a family-oriented culture with physician-led decision-making, no corporate red tape, and a genuinely supportive environment where concerns are addressed quickly, and equipment needs are fully supported. You’ll collaborate with specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Critical Care, Cardiology, Oncology, and Nephrology, along with a highly skilled ICU team led by a boarded criticalist and experienced CVT nurse supervisor.

The schedule offers an excellent work-life balance, with either four 10-hour shifts from Monday through Thursday or five 8-hour shifts from Monday through Friday. There are no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties unless desired.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an internist seeking a progressive, easygoing specialty practice that values teamwork, autonomy, and high-quality patient care.

About the Hospital

Our facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology and advanced services, including: Dialysis and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), Interventional Radiology with fluoroscopy, Advanced CT imaging, Mechanical ventilation and long-term ICU support, Video endoscopy, Advanced laparoscopy and thoracoscopy, Radioiodine (I-131) therapy, Hi-Flo oxygen, Regenerative medicine, including stem cell therapy.
