This is not a traditional corporate CVO role. This is a builder role for a veterinarian who wants to help shape the future of the veterinary profession.

Our client is building the next generation of veterinary medicine, combining clinical excellence, thoughtful clinic design, and AI-enabled operational infrastructure to reduce burnout and give veterinarians back control of their profession. Client is seeking a Chief Veterinary Officer / Founding Veterinary Partner to help design, build, and operate the first R&D-focused veterinary clinic that will serve as the foundation for a new model of veterinary care.

Qualifications / Skills

Required

  • DVM or equivalent -Strong clinical experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Passion for improving veterinary medicine
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership mindset

Preferred

  • Leadership or medical director experience
  • Interest in innovation and technology
  • Experience improving workflows or operations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

Not required but valuable

  • Experience in corporate veterinary medicine
  • Multi-clinic experience
  • Teaching or mentoring experience

 

Salary Range: Base, bonus and equity
