Seeking a Veterinarian Chief of Staff to help launch and lead a new urgent care service in San Antonio, TX. This service will complement our established daytime practice by providing care during evenings and weekends. The specific hours of operation will be developed with the incoming doctor, who will have meaningful input in shaping the program.

This role is ideal for a confident veterinarian who enjoys leadership and is comfortable practicing independently, as the urgent care doctor will often be the only veterinarian on shift while guiding the supporting team.

We are also actively involved in the community through adoption events with local shelters and a hospital fund that helps pets receive care when clients face financial limitations.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, as well as a hospital-wide bonus program that is open to all team members. Since this is a new service, the first-year bonus is likely to be guaranteed. Spanish-speaking skills are a plus due to a large Hispanic client base, but not required.
