Marketing Manager Innovation – Charlotte, NC region – # 9288

We are seeking a creative innovative, dynamic, marketing professional who will take a product concept, develop a roadmap, and develop packaging. This is a cross-functional role working with innovation, marketing, and finance. This is a supervisory role with tremendous growth potential. We need someone who can translate a scientific story about how we would tell that story to a veterinarian. Our ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and is someone who doesn’t necessarily do things the way they have always been done but is able to think outside the box.

The incumbent in this role will collaborate with commercial teams and the innovation group to identify opportunities for innovation, based on gaps in the marketplace. The incumbent will handle market research and do competitive analysis to support pipeline development and innovation roadmaps. The incumbent will work with graphic designers to develop marketing pieces.  The incumbent will create compelling messaging that integrates scientific credibility with customer-focused benefits. The incumbent will contribute to digital marketing, product launches, trade shows, and content marketing.

Qualifications include a veterinarian or veterinary technician with proven experience in strategic marketing who can work in a creative environment that is fast paced and focused on innovation and veterinary-centric marketing. Other qualifications include excellent writing skills, communication skills, and ability to work with both teams and independently. Additional qualifications include product launch experience along with demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies. The successful candidate should understand veterinary practice challenges, workflows, and client communication.  There will be some travel required in this position.  This is an on site not a remote position and the successful candidate will be required to relocate for this position if they are not local. There is relocation assistance.
