Life in Indianapolis
The only star on the Indiana map, Indianapolis, offers residents many unique things to see and do. Founded as a transportation and manufacturing hub that also inhabited large farms and agriculture, today’s Indy is more than just ham and trains. The city is widely known for its amateur sports and has coined the nickname of ‘the racing capital of the world’ as it is home to the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400, and, for a short time, the U.S. Grand Prix Formula One race. Further, Indy houses the largest children’s museum in the world! Visit or tour the Lockerbie Square Historic District, explore the Indianapolis Zoo, spend the day shopping, and/or choose from a variety of incredible cuisines. If you’re interested in suburban life, many communities are among the Top 10 places to live in the US! The suburbs provide great schools, fantastic communities, and affordable housing!
